Enlightened Ambient from Studio Wormbone is a sound pack created for electronica or film/TV/game soundtracks. It contains all the tools required for this: layered pads, textures, effects, synths etc. A big dose of originality is also royalty free included!
“Enlightened Ambient” from Studio Wormbone contains sparse and sophisticated layers of contemplative synthesis that transcend the mind and body. It’s introspective loops provide the hypnotic mantra for stylish relaxation. These sounds all exhibit a ‘lightness’ of character and were meticulously designed to provide aural existential enhancement.
The pack is split into six main folders: FX, pads, synth loops, synth melodies, synthetic percussion loops and texture beds. Over a hundred loops and effects which we loaded in the playlist, opened some beers and then expected to see our auras. It never happened, but the experience was beautiful.
The loops are between 90 and 130 BPM and they are created using various techniques like distortion, stereo panning etc. The main feeling is of tranquility, broken sometimes of unexpected but exciting level and stereo imaging variations.
About usability we have to say this pack it could harm for those who already has lot of projects started. Almost each loop is a leit-motif for a new track. You simply hear it and then your mind is processing. At least, this happened to us…
Back on Earth, the tech specs are: 293.28MB total extracted size, 115 files, 6 folders, each loop is noted with the BPM info. The loops names are also an efficient description, is a proof that the author is a well-organized citizen
